The company reported widespread phone outages in Louisiana after Hurricane Ida moved across the area. Some users also reported not being able to access AT&T's data network using Apple Inc.'s iPhone or Research In Motion Ltd.'s BlackBerry mobile devices. On Sunday, frustrated AT&T subscribers reported that cell phone and data services were being affected in multiple states and major cities, including Chicago. Eastern time yesterday that service "should now be fully restored." No further updates have been posted since then, and AT&T officials didn't respond to a request for comment about the service outages. AT&T, which asked Twitter users to "tweet us" if they were still having service problems, wrote at about 5 p.m.
